  • Information to be added or removed: Add text and citation under "Pre-Spanish–American War" section. Text reads: Captain Captain Joseph Henderson piloted the Baltimore safely out to sea. He said that "she was the first government vessel in seven years to take a Sandy Hook pilot." She went down the bay at the rate of 13 knots (24 km/h; 15 mph).
  • Explanation of issue: To include information that she was the first vessel to take a Sandy Hook pilot in seven years.
